Zeglingen is a municipality in the district of Sissach in the canton of Basel-Country in Switzerland.
Zeglingen has an area, as of 2009[update], of 7.91 square kilometers (3.05 sq mi).
Of the rest of the land, 0.49 km2 (0.19 sq mi) or 6.2% is settled (buildings or roads).
[3] The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Gules, a Pall Argent.
[7] Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (424 or 95.1%), with Albanian being second most common (9 or 2.0%) and Italian language being third (5 or 1.1%).

In the federal election, a total of 195 votes were cast, and the voter turnout was 54.2%.

The number of jobs in the secondary sector was 19, of which 15 or (78.9%) were in manufacturing and 4 (21.1%) were in construction.
In the tertiary sector; 9 or 37.5% were in wholesale or retail sales or the repair of motor vehicles, 4 or 16.7% were technical professionals or scientists, 7 or 29.2% were in education.
