Domestic competitions The club was founded on 13 May 2000 by the decision of Tatarstan Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kazan City Administration.

It was formed at the base of Directorate of Internal Affairs and aimed at taking part in games of Russian Championship First League.

Kazan Volleyball Centre is a modern complex with a total area of 13,000 square meters.
