Zhenhai Middle School

The school was forced to relocate several times during the Second World War, moving back to its original location in 1944.

In a 2016 ranking of Chinese high schools that send students to study in American universities, Zhenhai Middle School ranked number 27 in mainland China in terms of the number of students entering top American universities.

The academy was rebuilt into a modern high school in 1911 by a local businessman, Sheng Weibing.
