1942 San Diego State Aztecs football team

The 1942 San Diego State Aztecs football team represented San Diego State College—now known as San Diego State University—as an independent during the 1942 college football season.

San Diego State had been a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) in 1941, but the conference suspended operating during World War II.

[1] Led by John Eubank in his first and only season as head coach, the Aztecs compiled a record of 0–6–1 and were outscored by opponents 211 to 50 on the season.

The team played home games at Aztec Bowl in San Diego.
