The 1990–91 Stanford Cardinal women's basketball team represented Stanford University in the 1990–91 NCAA Division I women's basketball season.

The Cardinal were coached by Tara VanDerveer who was in her sixth year.

The Cardinal were members of the Pacific-10 Conference.

After winning the conference title with a 16–2 record in Pac-10 games, the team reached the NCAA Final Four for the second straight season, and ended with an overall record of 26–6.
