The 2006–07 UMKC Kangaroos men's basketball team represented the University of Missouri–Kansas City during the 2006–07 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.

The Kangaroos played their home games off-campus, most at Municipal Auditorium (with four at Kemper Arena) in Kansas City, Missouri, as a member of the Mid–Continent Conference.

The Kangaroos finished the 2005–06 season with a record of 14–14 overall, 11–5 in the Mid–Continent Conference to finish in third place.
