The 2010–11 season was MŠK Žilina's 17th consecutive season in the Slovak Superliga and 102nd year in existence as a football club.

In addition to the domestic league, Žilina participated in that season's editions of the Slovak Cup, the Slovak Super Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
