The 2011 Challenge Cup draw for the 4th round occurred a few hours after the Castleford game and the Bulls got an away tie against local Championship side Halifax on 8 May 2011, which was shown on the BBC.

The Bulls rounded off a depressing season with a 26–14 loss against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Kyle Briggs, Ainscough and Shad Royston all scored with Ah Van kicking one goal.
