The tournament was held from 19 to 25 July 2015 in Santander, Spain at the Ruth Beitia Municipal Sports Complex.
[1] Netherlands won the tournament for the sixth time after defeating Germany 6–1 in the final.
The top two teams advanced to the semifinals to determine the winner in a knockout system.
The last two teams were relegated to the EuroHockey Youth Championship II.
As per statistical convention in field hockey, matches decided in extra time are counted as wins and losses, while matches decided by penalty shoot-outs are counted as draws.
