The following article is a summary of the 2021–22 football season in France, which was the 88th season of competitive football in the country and ran from July 2021 to June 2022.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the games have been postponed to the summer of 2021.

However, their official name remains 2020 Summer Olympics with the rescheduled 2021 dates have yet to be announced.
