2022 AFF Championship knockout stage

The top two teams from each group (four in total) advanced to the knockout stage to compete in a two-legged single-elimination tournament beginning with the semi-finals followed by the final.

The away goals rule, extra time and penalty shoot-out are used to decide the winner if necessary.

The top two highest-placing teams from each of the two groups advanced to the knockout stage.

The top two sides of each group advanced to the knockout stages consisting of two-legged semi-finals and finals.
