2024–25 Stony Brook Seawolves women's basketball team

The 2024–25 Stony Brook Seawolves women's basketball team represents Stony Brook University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season.

The Seawolves, led by first-year head coach Joy McCorvey, play their home games at Stony Brook Arena in Stony Brook, New York as members of the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA).

[1] They defeated Campbell[2] and North Carolina A&T,[3] before being upset by #7 seed Drexel in the CAA tournament championship game.

[4] They received an automatic bid to the WBIT,[5] where they defeated James Madison in the first round,[6] before falling to eventual tournament champions Illinois in the second round.

[7] On April 2, 2024, head coach Ashley Langford announced that she would be stepping down from her position, after three seasons, in order to take the head coaching position at her alma mater, Tulane.
