Considered one of the most traditional in Brazil, the 2024 edition took place between January 2 and 25 and was contested by 128 teams divided into 32 groups.

In the semifinals, they beat Novorizontino 3–0, in a match held at Neo Química Arena, the Alvinegro stadium, in São Paulo, guaranteeing a place in the final after 7 years of absence.
