The 2024 Sul Ross Lobos football team represented Sul Ross State University during the 2024 NCAA Division II football season as a member of the Lone Star Conference (LSC).
[1] The Lobos were led by third-year head coach Barry Derickson and played their home games at Jackson Field in Alpine, Texas.
[2][3] The Lobos were not eligible for the NCAA Division II playoffs but were eligible for the Heritage Bowl, conference awards, and the regular season conference title.
[4][5] On December 2, Barry Derickson announced that he was stepping down as the Lobos' head coach.
[6] On February 12, 2025, Lubbock-Cooper High School offensive line coach and assistant offensive coordinator Lee Hays was named the Lobos' new head coach.
