The Anteaters played their home games at Cicerone Field as a member of the Big West Conference.

They were led by head coach Ben Orloff, in his sixth season as manager.

The Anteaters finished fourth in the Big West Conference, but did not receive an at-large berth to the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

UC Irvine was picked to finish second in the conference and received two first-place votes.
