Arya 2 or Aarya 2 is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film written and directed by Sukumar.
The film stars Allu Arjun, Navdeep, Kajal Aggarwal and Shraddha Das.
After saving Geetha from a gang fight, Arya marries her to protect her from the arranged marriage, while secretly planning to reunite her with Ajay.
Back home, Arya realizes his father-in-law read his diary revealing Ajay and Geetha’s plan.
In a dramatic turn, Arya makes Kashi Reddy hold Geetha hostage to secure Ajay’s release.
As the escape plan unfolds, Geetha confesses to Ajay that she called her father to come clean about their relationship.
The music of the song was re-used by Devi Sri Prasad in the Salman Khan's film, Ready as "Dhinka Chika".
Following the internet phenomenon of "Why This Kolaveri Di" in 2011, "Ringa Ringa" was featured alongside "Oh Podu", "Appadi Podu" and "Naaka Mukka" in a small collection of South Indian songs that are considered a "national rage" in India.
It was also dubbed in Malayalam under the same title, in Odia as I Love You Geeta , in Hindi as Arya: Ek Deewana (2010) and was remade under the title Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay in Bengali The film grossed ₹25 crore (US$2.9 million) in its first week, including ₹18 crore (US$2.1 million) from Nizam area.
