Abd al-Sattar Qasim

Abd al-Sattar Tawfiq Qasim al-Khader (Arabic: عبد الستار توفيق قاسم الخضر خليلية; 21 September 1948 – 1 February 2021) was a Palestinian writer, thinker, political analyst, and academic.

Qasim was a professor of political science and Palestinian studies at An-Najah National University in Nablus.

[citation needed] Qasim worked at the University of Jordan with the rank of assistant professor in 1978, and his services were terminated after a year and a half in 1979.

[citation needed] He has published 25 books, and has written about 130 scientific papers and thousands of articles.

[3] He died on 1 February 2021, at An-Najah National University Hospital in Nablus, after being infected with COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in the State of Palestine.
