Abdul Wadud is a retired Bangladesh Army lieutenant general and the current managing director of Summit Power.

[6][2] Abdul Wadud served as the Commandant of the Military Institute of Science & Technology from 27 March 2000 to 15 February 2001.

[2] During his tenure, he received Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka during his tour of Bangladesh.

[6] In November 2018, Abdul Wadud and 149 retired military officers pledged to work for the Awami League before the 11th parliamentary elections in December.
