Abdus Selim (born 19 September 1945)[1] is a Bangladeshi academic, writer and translator.

[5] [6] Nagorik Natya Sampradaya theatre group staged the play under the direction of Ataur Rahman in 1988.

[5] Selim taught at the teachers' training college in Libya as well as in England, United States and Germany.

[3] He served as the vice-president and an executive body member of International Theatre Institute.

[3] Majority of the drama plays translated by Selim have been directed by Ataur Rahman.
