Abram Calvin Wildrick

In 1866, he was nominated and confirmed for appointment to the grade of brevet brigadier general of volunteers to rank from April 2, 1865.

Abram Wildrick graduated from the United States Military Academy on July 1, 1857.

[1] On October 11, 1864, Wildrick was appointed colonel of the 39th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry Regiment.

Wildrick received brevet appointments as a major and lieutenant colonel in the regular army and a brigadier general of volunteers for his service at Petersburg.

[1] On January 13, 1866, President Andrew Johnson nominated Wildrick for appointment to the grade of brevet brigadier general of volunteers, to rank from August 2, 1865, and the United States Senate confirmed the appointment on March 12, 1866.
