Abyssochrysos bicinctus

Apex (protoconch and an indeterminate number of early teleoconch whorls) corroded.

Sculpture consisting of axial ribs forming two strong knobs, one above and one below the suture.

The body whorl is regularly convex and there also the suprasutural knobs are weaker and fused to each other.

The base is regularly rounded, with ill-defined periphery and no distinct basal disc.

Periostracum thick, deep amber brown, with strong, curved incremental growth lines[3] This marine species occurs in the Makassar Strait, Indonesia.
