Acteon delicatus

Actaeon perforatus Dall, 1881 Acteon delicatus is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Acteonidae.

(Original description) The ovate shell is white, or suffused with rose pink, not in bands but generally, or in longitudinal flammules, with usually a white margin in front of the suture.

The columella is straight, without any chink behind it, and bears a single moderate fold.

This marine species occurs in the Caribbean Sea off Mexico, Cuba, Barbados and Saint Lucia; in the Gulf of Mexico off the mouth of the Mississippi River.
