Adam Gardiner (politician)

Adam Gardiner is a former member of the Utah State legislature and Salt Lake County recorder who in December 2018 was appointed as Utah affairs director on the staff of Senator-elect Mitt Romney.

He earned a bachelor's degree in political science and communications from Weber State University.

Early in his career Gardiner worked as an aid for Doug Aagard of the Utah House of Representatives in 2008.

In August 2017, Gardiner resigned from the Utah Legislature to become Salt Lake County recorder.
