Adenosinergic means "working on adenosine".

An adenosinergic agent (or drug) is a chemical which functions to directly modulate the adenosine system in the body or brain.

Examples include adenosine receptor agonists, adenosine receptor antagonists (such as caffeine), and adenosine reuptake inhibitors.
