Aegista tapeina

Aegista tapeina is a species of air-breathing land snails, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod in the family Camaenidae.

The shell features faint oblique stripes with spiral markings that are not prominently defined.

The species displays variation in both the height of the spire and the angularity of the body whorl.

Distinguishing itself from the aforementioned characteristics, it typically exhibits a narrower umbilicus, measuring less than 5 mm in width, while also boasting a slightly taller stature and a more pronounced angularity.
