Afedena is an exclosure located in the Dogu'a Tembien woreda of the Tigray Region in Ethiopia.
[1] [1] [1] As a general rule, cattle ranging and wood harvesting are not allowed.
Physical soil and water conservation has been implemented to enhance infiltration, and vegetation growth.
Field observations showed that however, some illegal grazing occurred in the exclosure in 2018.
Along the main road that crosses the exclosure, caracals, jackals, and guineafowls are frequently seen.
