Afrotrewia

Afrotrewia is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Euphorbiaceae.

[2] Its native range is western central Tropical Africa, within Cameroon and Gabon.

[2] The genus name of Afrotrewia is in honour of Christoph Jacob Trew (1695–1769), a German botanist and illustrator.

[3] The Latin specific epithet of kamerunica refers to coming from Cameroon, where the plant was found.

[2] The genus is recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture and the Agricultural Research Service, but they do not list any known species.
