The Agalega day gecko feeds on insects and nectar.
On the back and tail there are brownish or red-brick coloured dots or bars.
The Agalega day gecko is often found on these trees as well as on Terminalia spec.
During this period, the females lay up to 4 pairs of eggs, often under loose bark of coconut trees.
The young will hatch after approximately 70–100 days, depending on the temperature.
These animals can be fed with crickets, wax moths, fruit flies, mealworms and houseflies.
