[4][3][5][6][7] Agha Ahmed Raza Khan was born on 20 August 1910 in Basti Nau, Jullundur, into a noble Burki Sunni Pashtun family originally from Kaniguram.

Farooq retired as a Brigadier in the Pakistan Army, while Farrukh became a urologist after studying at King Edward Medical College.
