Zaman Park

Zaman Park (Urdu: زمان پارک) is a neighborhood in the city of Lahore, Pakistan.

[1] Earlier maps labeled the region as Punjab Light Horse (PLH) Parade Ground, part of the Cavalry Reserve in the British Indian Army.

[3] The area only gained its current name and houses after the construction efforts led by Rai Bahadur Sunder Das Suri and his family.

[3] Upon the occurrence of the 1947 Partition, Zaman Park was adorned with 15 grand, palatial residences, constructed by Lahore's elite Hindu families.

[3] The elite of the Jalandhar Pathans, originally from Waziristan, migrated to Lahore to settle in Zaman Park.
