Akividu (or Akiveedu) is a town in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

It is a nagara panchayati (municipality) and the mandal headquarters of Akiveedu mandal in Bhimavaram revenue division.

Akiveedu is a sixth biggest town in former West Godavari district between the cities of Bhimavaram and Eluru.

2,500 children are in the age group of 0–6 years, of which 1,222 are boys and 1,278 are girls—a ratio of 1046 per 1000.
