Alasdair Webster

In 1984, Webster was elected to the Australian House of Representatives for the seat of Macquarie as a member of the Liberal Party.

He held the seat until his defeat in 1993 by Maggie Deahm, representing the Australian Labor Party, who won by a margin of 105 votes.

He made 22 allegations of irregularities, including widespread electoral fraud, and that an advertisement misled voters into thinking Deahm was a Democrat Candidate.

He also contested the New South Wales Legislative Council for the Christian Democratic Party at the 1999 and 2003 state elections.
