[1] Rossi was born in Rome and began his career on stage in 1976 when he spent four years as a member of Teatro Il Politecnico.
As an actor on screen, he played the role of Commissioner De Zan in the television series Inspector Coliandro, which began in 2006 and ended in 2021.
[2] He also provided the Italian voice of Samuel L. Jackson, Ving Rhames, Michael Clarke Duncan and Patrick Stewart in some of their works.
He also dubbed Jean-Luc Picard (performed by Patrick Stewart) in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
[4] In Rossi's animated roles, he has dubbed Goliath in Gargoyles, Zapp Brannigan in Futurama and Speed in The Swan Princess.
