Alexander Military Law Academy

It was established in 1867 and named after his founder, Emperor Alexander II of Russia in 1908.

The academy was situated in St. Petersburg by 96 Moika Embankment, along with many other institutions of military education.

About 1,000 officers graduated from the academy, as well as a small number or civil officials (which were admitted until 1882).

In 1866, by Auditor School, the two-year officers’ courses were established.

Graduates received the right to occupy positions in the military judicial department.
