Almena is a city in Norton County, Kansas, United States.
[4] It was named by Margaret Coleman, an early settler and first postmistress,[5] for Almena, Wisconsin,[6] her hometown.
[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.61 square miles (1.58 km2), all land.
