Alphonse De Valkeneer

Alphonse De Valkeneer (2 June 1898 – 5 September 1973) was a Belgian colonial administrator.

On 21 July 1936 he joined the government service of the Belgian Congo, starting as a temporary territorial administrator.

De Valkeneer was in the Force Publique of the Belgian Congo from 30 June 1940 to 6 November 1944.

[3] De Valkeneer was involved in many veterinary matters, particularly in bovine brucellosis and the means to completely eradicate this illness.

[1] De Valkeneer married twice, first in 1931 to Suzanne Marie Alix Briard (1903–1964), then to Berthe Van Campenhout (1909–1987).
