Alyssa Ney

Ney majored in physics and philosophy at Tulane University, graduating in 1999.

She then went to Brown University for graduate study in philosophy, earning a master's degree in 2003 and completing her Ph.D. in 2005.

[1] Her dissertation, The Metaphysics of Unified Science, was supervised by Jaegwon Kim.

She joined the University of California, Davis in 2015 and was promoted to full professor in 2019.
