The site was initially part of a larger property which continued all the way to Ny Toldbodgade on the other side of the block.
The still undeveloped property was in 1768 acquired by Andreas Pfützner (1741-1793), He had back in 1876 been appointed as court master carpenter.
Andreas and Martha Catharina Pfytzner resided in the building with a maid, a female cook and a coachman.
[2] Børre Jacobsen, a brewer and assistant at the Danish Asiatic Company, resided in the building with his four children (aged 14 to 22), a male servant, a maid and a female cook.
[3] Pfüzner died in 1793 and the house was the following year sold to Sigfred Victor Raben Levetzau, the holder of the stamhus Restrup in Northern Jutland.
[7] Christopher Christensen Korning, a barkeeper and cellarman, resided in the building with his wife Enge Maren Nielsen, their 17-year-old foster daughter and a maid.
[9] Lars Jensen Grundfør, a concierge and weaver, resided in the building with his wife Caroline Sehestedt and their 26-year-old daughter.
