Amazonius is a genus of tarantulas first described by Cifuentes & Bertani in 2022.

They are found in Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil and French Guiana.

Two of the four species were originally from the Tapinauchenius genus, being A. burgessi, A.
