Ambigolimax melitensis is a species of air-breathing land slug, a shell-less pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Limacidae.
(Original description in Latin) The snail features an elongate-conical body that tapers toward the front and is pointed at the rear, lacking a keel and uniformly displaying a pale ash-gray color.
The shield is moderately sized, not swollen, finely granulated, and rounded at both the anterior and posterior ends.
Beneath the shield lies a small, oval-elongated, slug-like structure that is distinctly visible.
[3] The distribution of this species includes Malta and Italy (Sicily, Aeolian Islands, Sardinia, and the Tuscan Archipelago).
