Amyr Sergeyevich Argamakov [ɑmɯr sjergjejevitʃ ɑrgɑmɑkov] (Russian: Амыр Сергеевич Аргамаков; born 9 July 1994) is a Russian military officer and politician serving as the senator from Altai since 3 October 2024.
[2] In 2018, he was deployed to Syria where he participated in combat operations during the Russian intervention in the Syrian civil war.
In 2023, he was appointed chief of staff of a motorized rifle battalion and was twice awarded the Order of Courage.
In January 2024, President Vladimir Putin awarded him the title of the Hero of the Russian Federation.
