Anacithara propinqua is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Horaiclavidae.
(Original description) The small, rather solid shell has an ovate-fusiform shape.
The ribs number nine on the penultimate whorl.
There are fine, close, even spiral threads that overrun the whole shell.
