Anchipteraspididae is an extinct family of heterostracan vertebrates restricted to Late Silurian and Early Devonian strata of Arctic Canada.
[1] Anchipteraspidids superficially resemble the ancestral cyathaspidids, but, the articulation and growth patterns of the plates clearly define them as pteraspidids.
