Andrew Robert Heck (born January 1, 1967) is an American professional football coach and former player.
He received a scholarship to play football at the University of Notre Dame, where, as a co-captain, he helped lead the Fighting Irish to a national championship in 1988 under head coach Lou Holtz.
Heck was a first round selection of the Seattle Seahawks in the 1989 NFL draft, the fifteenth overall pick.
[3] Heck played in the NFL playoffs for the first time in 1994, helping Chicago upset division-rival Minnesota before losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round.
Heck was hired by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013 as their offensive line coach.
