Angelo Natale is a former trade union leader and candidate for political office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
[2] In later years, the Haulers' Association would block off access to Queen's Park several times to protest against Ontario's trucking laws.
[4] Notwithstanding his ruling, the presiding judge also found that allegations of "Jimmy Hoffa-like" tactics against Natale were not supported by evidence.
[7] Natale returned to political life in the 1985 municipal campaign, unsuccessfully seeking election to the North York Board of Control.
[10] Natale led another protest at Queen's Park in 1992, this time as president of the Ontario Aggregate Haulers Benevolent Association.
He opposed provincial legislation passed in late 1991 that established loan brokers for the trucking industry, arguing that truckers were at risk of being exploited.
