Annapurna Devi Yadav[2] (born 2 February 1970; Hindi pronunciation: [ən̪ːəpuːɾɳaː d̪eːʋiː jaːd̪əʋ]) is an Indian politician who is serving as the 5th Minister of Women and Child Development since 2024.
Previously, she was elected to the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, from Kodarma (Vidhan Sabha constituency) as a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
[5] Annapurna Devi became a minister in Modi cabinet,she won Lok Sabha Election 2024 from Koderma seat.
Since June 9, 2024, she has been serving as the Union Cabinet Minister of Women and Child Development.
At the state level, she served as the Cabinet Minister for the Ministry of Irrigation, Women & Child Welfare, and Registration in the Government of Jharkhand (2012 - 2014).
