Antennipatus

Antennipatus is an extinct genus of onychophoran (velvet worm).

This genus is notable for being the oldest known onychophoran fossil, which comes from France and dates back to the Stephanian stage of the Late Carboniferous.

[1] It is uncertain whether the taxon belongs to the stem-group or crown-group, though some phylogenetic analyses conservatively treat it as a stem-group representative.
