Anthony Joseph Genovesi (December 8, 1936 – August 10, 1998) was an American lawyer and politician from New York.
Genovesi was born on December 8, 1936[1] in Brooklyn, New York.
Upon receiving his law degree, he completed his military service obligation as an officer in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps.
[citation needed] He entered politics as a Democrat, and became a top aide of Assembly Speaker Stanley Fink.
He died shortly before midnight on August 10, 1998, in a car accident on New York State Route 22 in Pawling, Dutchess County, New York, while returning from the Berkshires;[3] and was buried at the Corashire Cemetery in Monterey, Massachusetts.
