Anthony New

Anthony New (1747 – March 2, 1833) was an 18th-century and 19th-century American congressman and lawyer from Virginia and Kentucky.

During the Revolutionary War, he served as a colonel in the Virginia militia from 1780 to 1781.

He was elected an Anti-Administration to the United States House of Representatives in 1792, serving from 1793 to 1805.
