Anti-Slavery Reporter

Under Macaulay and its subsequent editors, the journal campaigned vigorously for the abolition of slavery throughout the world in the late 19th century.

Volume ii of the Anti-Slavery Monthly Reporter is dated as commencing in June 1827 and ending in May 1828.

It was printed in London for the "London Society for the Mitigation and Abolition of Slavery in the British Dominions" (officially the Society for the Mitigation and Gradual Abolition of Slavery Throughout the British Dominions), and printed as a monograph in 1829.

[12] Under Macaulay and its subsequent editors, the journal campaigned vigorously for the abolition of slavery throughout the world in the late 19th century.

Its articles include detailed reports of the activities of the abolitionists; reports of the Parliamentary procedures which ultimately led to the abolition of slavery throughout Britain and her colonies; and details of the political activities of pro- and anti-slavery supporters in other countries.
